About Jennifer Roos

Jennifer Roos is a Jack, or shall we say, Jenn of many trades.

Freelance writer, author, crafter, photographer, fitness instructor, mother ... she does it all. And whether she's cutting, pasting and painting with school children, encouraging her fitness participants to squat a little deeper or taking photos of an Oceanside estate, Jennifer tackles each role with enthusiasm, professionalism, dedication and a smile.

With more than 13 years of experience in print, radio, television and online media, Jennifer is The Impatient Crafter, Yahoo! Canada's craft expert. Each week she delivers a quick and simple-to-make project that can be put together, more often than not, with materials you've got laying around the house.

Author of Simply Seasonal - Easy crafts for Winter, Spring, Summer & Autumn, Jennifer also contributes a weekly column to KV Style magazine, a monthly project for Life With Kids, and runs a successful real estate photography business. She contributes freelance articles to Canadian Home & Country online as well as Canadian Gardening online.

Jennifer is involved with Writers in the School Program, teaches craft workshops for all ages and volunteers with many organisations.

 This mother of two works from her home in Quispamsis, New Brunswick, where she is very popular with her crafty daughters and their friends. Thanks to a freelance schedule, Jennifer can give 100 per cent to her many jobs and to her family.
